Bahía Ballena

Bahia Ballena is the fifth district of the canton of Osa, on our South Pacific coast. The district has an area of 160.76 km² and has an estimated population of approximately 3,338 inhabitants. Its main town is Uvita, on the beach of the same name.

In addition, the district of Bahia Ballena is the one with more beaches and many beautiful resorts, forests of precious woods, rivers for swimming after being in the sea, and the famous Marino Ballena National Park, with 116 hectares of extension. Its main activities are tourism, fishing and the provision of services and sale of products.
