Responsibility:

Ballena Infocenter, its owners, associates, agents, and employees, disclaim any responsibility for injuries, theft, or failure of any means directly or indirectly caused by any tour in Costa Rica.

We are not responsible for civil disturbances, government restrictions, changes by third-party service providers, or damages related to other services affecting your reservation.

Changes to the itinerary can be made for comfort and well-being, with negotiations agreed upon in writing.

The safety of luggage and belongings is the client’s responsibility, although our company ensures client safety in our facilities.

Medical and Health Service:

Clients with health conditions or disabilities should inform our staff in advance. During activities, a first aid kit is available, but clients must be aware that our staff is not a doctor. Private medical assistance can be arranged at the client’s expense.

Insurance:

We have a basic insurance policy covering civil liability and direct damage provided by the National Insurance Institute.

Clients wanting additional coverage can obtain it in their country or in Costa Rica and add the document to the disclaimer.

Refunds:

50% of the tour price is non-refundable and covers commissions, park fees, taxes, and tour organization.

Cancellations within 24 hours are considered a no-show and charged in full. Refunds are issued in case of uncontrollable factors preventing the tour.

Clients must present their voucher to the service provider during the tour. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, and we do not reimburse for non-observations.

Ballena Infocenter is not responsible for loss, accidents, or incidents during tours. Photos on our website are copyrighted, and requests can be made through our email.
