Snorkeling at Caño Island

The Caño Island Biological Reserve is one of the best places for snorkeling in the country and is approximately two hours by boat from Playa Uvita. Once the boat trip is over you will arrive at the island where you will snorkel in two different places and during which you can observe sharks, manta rays, turtles and a large number of different species of fish and coral (depending on the visibility of the water).

You can also enjoy lunch on a nearby beach or on the boat and hopefully meet whales and dolphins on the way back!
